several vaguely related projects worked on by me: a 3d engine with a javascript-like scripting language (pdsys); an older scheme dialect (vmsys); ... (2009-04-28: I have been gone for years, may try to put up some newer stuff...).

Loose intention is to develop a particle engine visualised with Java3D. Along the way various aspects of Java3D will be explored. Hopefully code generated will have benefit to others as a learning base.

A multi-platform graphical network analysis tool

The 3ds to java converter is a 3ds loader for java3d. It uses the C-library lib3ds to convert files into a format that can easily be read into java, solving many of the bugs other 3ds loaders for java3d have.

AnkerWorld is a graphical application. It is used to create and visualize 3d architecture models based on the famous Anker (TM) architecture blocks invented in 1880. This Java library was created in order to import rigged and animated figures including the animations created in Blender(c) into Java3D app. The approach chosen was to export the Blender(c) file using the Ogre3D export PlugIn for Blender(c) and then load the data using the classes from this library.

ConVic is a part of the VICON project. The needs of people with physical or sensory impairments are generally not well considered when designing user interfaces to consumer products. Controls and displays often fail to meet the requirements of users with visual, hearing, mobility or dexterity impairments. It is difficult for mainstream manufacturers to have a detailed understanding of these needs and how to design for them. Manufacturers would benefit from the support of a third party solution to input the necessary knowledge.
