Lx-Office is a fork of the accounting package SQL-Ledger that is independently developed since 2003. It is especially customized to meet German requirements regarding accounting and financial reporting. There is also a module for CRM. In March 2012, Lx-Office was renamed into "kivitendo"  to rule out misunderstandings  by equating name part "office"  to "office package" for spreadsheets and text processing. The new name comes from the Swahili, translated it means "practically". To preserve the project history, the sourceforge area will keep the previous product name for the time being.

Previously known as Damaged DOCX2TXT, this GUI program will extract text from damaged/corrupted Word 2007 - 2013 DOCX format documents. DOCX files are actually zipped collections of mostly XML files. The main text in docx files is found in document.xml file in the collection. Corrupt DOCX Salvager uses 7Zip, an unzipper that sometimes unzips partially corrupt document.xml files despite reporting an error. XML as a format is unforgiving of data corruption but Corrupt DOCX Salvager uses a Perl routine used to extract the text from the document.xml file which doesn't care about well-formed XML, a recovery stumbling block for Microsoft Word. Recent changes include the pretreatment of docx files with InfoZip's zip.exe -FF repair command, improving success rates. Also added are links to other solutions. Meqaris (Meeting Equipment and Room Invitation System) is a system that allows booking meeting/conference rooms and other equipment or resources (like mobile whiteboards, projectors or conference audio/video sets) by using the same type of e-mail invitations that are used to invite participants to meetings. Especially useful in corporate environments, but can be used for anything in general, even by individual users. Simply add "resource participants" to the recipient list (just like other attendees) of your e-mail invitation to book the resource and wait for a response. Pretty Damn Quick (PDQ) analytically solves queueing network models of computer and manufacturing systems, data networks, etc., written in conventional programming languages. Generic or customized reports of predicted performance measures are output.

SWAMP is a flexible, java based workflow server that runs on top of tomcat. It reads its workflow definitions from XML files. Administration and tracking of workflow instances, execution of individual tasks can be done via the web and SOAP interfaces.
