...This white paper argues for using RTS games as a benchmark for AI research, and describes the design and components of TorchCraft. TorchCraft is a BWAPI module that sends StarCraft data out over a ZMQ connection. This lets you parse StarCraft data and interact with BWAPI from anywhere. The TorchCraft client should be installed from C++, Python, or Lua. We provide off-the-shelf solutions for Python and Lua. -

This is a unix distribution I made so that I can develop from anywhere--a virtual desk if you will. Some of my friends and colleagues have found it useful, and an easily accessible place to put the operating system up is on the internet.

The Anvil is setting out to produce one strong platform for all media. Fluid work with major audio, video, raster/vector images, 3D formats and scripting languages will allow us to start from anywhere and temper out the masterpeice we needed.
