PingMe is a personal project to satisfy my need to have alerts, most major platforms have integration to send alerts but it's not always useful, either you are stuck with one particular platform, or you have to do a lot of integrations. I needed a small utility that I could just call from my backup scripts, cron jobs, CI/CD pipelines, or from anywhere to send a message with particular information. And I can ship it everywhere with ease. Hence, the birth of PingMe. Everything is configurable via environment variables, and you can simply export the logs or messages to a variable that will be sent as a message, most of all this serves as a swiss army knife sort of tool that supports multiple platforms. -

Toolbx Linux

Toolbx is a tool for Linux, which allows the use of interactive command line environments for development and troubleshooting the host operating system, without having to install software on the host. It is built on top of Podman and other standard container technologies from OCI. Toolbx environments have seamless access to the user's home directory, the Wayland and X11 sockets, networking (including Avahi), removable devices (like USB sticks), systemd journal, SSH agent, D-Bus, limits, /dev and the udev database, etc. This is particularly useful on OSTree-based operating systems like Fedora CoreOS and Silverblue. The intention of these systems is to discourage installation of software on the host, and instead install software as (or in) containers — they mostly don't even have package managers like DNF or YUM. This makes it difficult to set up a development environment or troubleshoot the operating system in the usual way. -

Kubernetes port forwarding for local development. kubefwd is a command line utility built to port forward multiple services within one or more namespaces on one or more Kubernetes clusters. kubefwd uses the same port exposed by the service and forwards it from a loopback IP address on your local workstation. kubefwd temporally adds domain entries to your /etc/hosts file with the service names it forwards. When working on our local workstation, my team and I often build applications that access services through their service names and ports within a Kubernetes namespace. kubefwd allows us to develop locally with services available as they would be in the cluster. -

Electron Packager is a command line tool and Node.js library that bundles Electron-based application source code with a renamed Electron executable and supporting files into folders ready for distribution. For creating distributables like installers and Linux packages, consider using either Electron Forge (which uses Electron Packager internally), or one of the related Electron tools, which utilizes Electron Packager-created folders as a basis. Note that packaged Electron applications can be relatively large. Percollate is a command-line tool that turns web pages into beautifully formatted PDF, EPUB, or HTML files. By default, percollate processes URLs in parallel. Use the --wait option to process them sequentially instead, with a pause between items. The delay is specified in seconds, and can be zero. By default, percollate bundles all web pages in a single file. Use the --individual flag to export each source to a separate file. Additional CSS styles you can pass from the command line to override styles specified by the default/custom stylesheet. Generate a hyperlinked table of contents. The option is implicitly enabled when bundling more than one web page to a single file. Disable this implicit behavior by passing the --no-to flag. The idea with percollate is to make PDFs that can be printed without losing where the hyperlinks point to. However, for some link-heavy pages, the appended hrefs can become bothersome. -

Warmup runs can be executed before the actual benchmark. Cache-clearing commands can be set up before each timing run. Statistical outlier detection to detect interference from other programs and caching effects. Export results to various formats: CSV, JSON, Markdown, AsciiDoc. Parameterized benchmarks (e.g. vary the number of threads). Cross-platform. Hyperfine will automatically determine the number of runs to perform for each command. By default, it will perform at least 10 benchmarking runs and measure for at least 3 seconds. For programs that perform a lot of disk I/O, the benchmarking results can be heavily influenced by disk caches and whether they are cold or warm. If you want to run the benchmark on a warm cache, you can use the -w/--warmup option. -

An advanced command-line tool designed to brute force directories and files in webservers, AKA web path scanner. Wordlist is a text file, each line is a path. About extensions, unlike other tools, dirsearch only replaces the %EXT% keyword with extensions from -e flag. For wordlists without %EXT% (like SecLists), -f | --force-extensions switch is required to append extensions to every word in wordlist, as well as the /. To use multiple wordlists, you can separate your wordlists with commas. Example: wordlist1.txt,wordlist2.txt. Default values for dirsearch flags can be edited in the configuration file: default.conf. The thread number (-t | --threads) reflects the number of separated brute force processes. And so the bigger the thread number is, the faster dirsearch runs. By default, the number of threads is 30, but you can increase it if you want to speed up the progress.
