Easy and fast file sharing from the command-line. This code contains the server with everything you need to create your own instance. Transfer.sh currently supports the s3 (Amazon S3), gdrive (Google Drive), storj (Storj) providers, and local file system (local). For easy deployment, we've created a Docker container. For the usage with a AWS S3 Bucket, you just need to specify the following options, provider, aws-access-key, aws-secret-key, bucket, and s3-region. If you specify the s3-region, you don't need to set the endpoint URL since the correct endpoint will used automatically. To use a custom non-AWS S3 provider, you need to specify the endpoint as defined from your cloud provider. In preparation you need to create an access grant (or copy it from the uplink configuration) and a bucket. To get started, login to your account and go to the Access Grant Menu and start the Wizard on the upper right. -

PingMe is a personal project to satisfy my needs of having alerts, most major platforms have integration to send alerts but its not always useful, either you are stuck with one particular platform, or you have to do alot of integrations. I needed a small app which i can just call from my backup scripts, cron jobs, CI/CD pipelines or from anywhere to send a message with particular information. And i can ship it everywhere with ease. Hence, the birth of PingMe. Everything is configurable via environment variables, and you can simply export the logs or messages to a variable which will be sent as message, and most of all this serves as a swiss army knife sort of tool which supports multiple platforms. FileDAG Storage A distributed storage service built on the IPFS technology stack. Different from the official implementation of IPFS, we focus more on data management, data reliability, availability and fault tolerance, and clustering of storage nodes. The minimum storage unit of FileDAG Storage is dag, which is the data block. Files or objects are organized in a merkle-dag structure, and multiple files or objects may share some data blocks. The obvious benefit of this is to reduce redundant data, especially for multi-version systems. Not only does reduce data redundancy, it also saves bandwidth on network transmissions. Every advantage has its disadvantage, the downside is that data management has become more complex. First, the file or object management module needs to be abstracted on the basis of merkle-dag; second, the file cannot be deleted directly, only the data blocks that are no longer needed can be released through garbage collection. -

A (cute) Hydra with one belly full of records and many heads (Peer IDs) to tell other nodes about them, charged with rocket boosters to transport other nodes to their destination faster. Only run a hydra-booster on machines with public IP addresses. Having more DHT nodes behind NATs makes DHT queries in general slower, as connecting in generally takes longer and sometimes doesn't even work (resulting in a timeout). The total number of heads a single Hydra can have depends on the resources of the machine it's running on. To get the desired number of heads you may need to run multiple Hydras on multiple machines. -

Lens is an opt-in search engine and data collection tool to aid content discovery of the distributed web. It exposes a simple, minimal API for intelligently indexing and querying content on IPFS. Initially integrated with Temporal, Lens will allow users to optionally have the data they upload be searched and indexed and be awarded with RTC for participating in the data collection process. Users can then search for content using a simple-to-use API. Searching through Lens will be facilitated through Temporal web. Optionally, we will have a service independent from Temporal which users can submit content to have it be indexed. This however, is not compensated with RTC. In order to receive the RTC, you must participate through Lens indexing within the Temporal web interface. -

A plugin for presenting an IPFS gateway over i2p
Plugin for presenting an IPFS gateway over i2p. This is only the gateway part, A.K.A. the easy part. It will make your IPFS gateway accessible via i2p clients, but it will not route communication between IPFS nodes over i2p(1). This means that it doesn't make your IPFS instance anonymous, it just makes it accssible to clients anonymously(2). It simply takes advantage of the plugin system to set up some hidden services when the IPFS plugin is initialized. It does this by reading the IPFS config file to find the ports that have been configured by the admin running IPFS, then using the SAM API to forward those ports to I2P. Once they are forwarded, a config file is generated containing the i2p configuration and it's base32 and base64 addresses. This is stored in a file called "i2pconfig." Finally, it simply forwards the IPFS gateway to I2P. -

It is being maintained at a minimal level just to ensure that it's usable on my computer. Crashed will still be fixed as I use the application, but that's about it. -

A terminal-based P2P chat application using libp2p and Golang that uses a Kademlia DHT and the IPFS network for peer discovery and routing. The application was inspired by chat examples found on libp2p's pubsub library, but is more evolved and fully featured version of it. It uses a Kademlia DHT from libp2p for peer discovery and routing and supports a more fully featured host. The other components of the libp2p such as TLS encryption, peer active discovery, YAMUX stream multiplexing are integrated as well. The application also allows users to jump between different chat rooms without having to restart the application and they can also change their usernames at any point. The application works for two nodes on the same network or on different networks. Nodes that are behind NATs on private network are able to communicate with each other because the application attempts to configure the router automatically using UPnP and also uses AutoRelay (TURN) to facilitate the connection. -

s3x is a minio gateway providing an S3 API powered by TemporalX
s3x is an open-source gateway for github.com/minio/minio to work with TemporalX as an S3 gateway. It allows using IPFS from any application that currently uses S3, or minio, without needing to redesign your application architecture. It represents an incredible leap forward in usability for IPFS, and up until now no implementation of IPFS allowed you to use it, without needing to build your application specifically for IPFS. Additionally this means your S3 applications can leverage the benefits of IPFS as if it were a native IPFS application. One might say its better than. s3x targets to be fully compatible with S3 and the latest minio release. We discussed with one of the MinIO lead devs, and they agreed that once we finish the iteration and have the first "v1 release" of s3x they will accept a PR from us to merge this functionality upstream. After that we will continue to develop on this fork of the codebase. -

A Slack client for your terminal. Download a compatible binary for your system. For convenience, place slack-term in a directory where you can access it from the command line. Usually this is /usr/local/bin. If you want, you can also get slack-term via Go. You can also run it with docker, make sure you have a valid config file on your host system. In addition to running slack-term from the command line by using slack-term, you have some additional flags that you can use. You can specify a different location of the slack term config file. This enables you to run several slack-term instances with different configurations/tokens. You can also specify the slack-token that needs to be used, from the command line. There is also an option to set the slack-token for a single slack-term instance by setting the SLACK_TOKEN environment variable. -

It currently is designed to run on a raspberry Pi, although it is being ported to other systems.
