Node-sass is a library that provides binding for Node.js to LibSass, the C version of the popular stylesheet preprocessor, Sass. It allows you to natively compile .scss files to css at incredible speed and automatically via a connect middleware. A custom importer allows extension of the LibSass engine in both a synchronous and asynchronous manner. In both cases, the goal is to either return or call done() with an object literal. When returning or calling done() with { file: "String" }, the new file path will be assumed for the @import. It's recommended to be mindful of the value of prev in instances where relative path resolution may be required. When returning or calling done() with { contents: "String" }, the string value will be used as if the file was read in through an external source. -

Codon is a high-performance Python compiler that compiles Python code to native machine code without any runtime overhead. Typical speedups over Python are on the order of 100x or more, on a single thread. Codon supports native multithreading which can lead to speedups many times higher still. To use the standalone binary form, execute glslangValidator, and it will print a usage statement. Basic operation is to give it a file containing a shader, and it will print out warnings/errors and optionally an AST. Instead of building manually, you can also download the binaries for your platform directly from the master-tot release on GitHub. Those binaries are automatically uploaded by the build bots after successful testing and they always reflect the current top of the tree of the master branch. Right now, there are two test harnesses existing in glslang: one is Google Test, one is the runtests script. The former runs unit tests and single-shader single-threaded integration tests, while the latter runs multiple-shader linking tests and multi-threaded tests. Test results should always be included with a pull request that modifies functionality. -

CodeBlocks With A full development environment. Took a while but CodeBlocks is now upto speed and in sync with the current release version. New version of CodeBlocks supports XML based configuration, so users can do specialized compiler support if needed. Changed away from the old Msys in favor of Msys2 which has better support for a lot of things like miktex. Old package is still there if you still need it but wont be developed on anymore. Loads of modifications compared to the Msys2 package from Alex, you can still update Msys2 packages from his server though. MinGW64 packages have to many changes compared to Alex version so those will not upgrade but im working on creating my own package server. Current Msys2/MinGW64 gcc is now 6.2.0-4 and binutils 2.27. New packages will be uploaded shortly. Stay tuned for more changes. -

Ox: Attribute Grammar Compiling System
Ox is an attribute-grammar evaluator generator.
Ox is an attribute grammar compiling system that augments Lex and Yacc specifications with definitions of synthesized and inherited attributes written in a combination of Ox and C/C++ syntax. From these augmented specifications, Ox generates ordinary Lex and Yacc specifications that build and decorate attributed parse trees. The user can specify parse-tree traversals for easy ordering of side effects such as code generation. Ox handles the tedious and error-prone details of writing code for parse-tree management, so its use eases problems of security and maintainability associated with that aspect of translator development. -

Performance and Productivity at Scale
X10 is a class-based, strongly-typed, garbage-collected, object-oriented language. To support concurrency and distribution, X10 uses the Asynchronous Partitioned Global Address Space programming model (APGAS). This model introduces two key concepts -- places and asynchronous tasks -- and a few mechanisms for coordination. With these, APGAS can express both regular and irregular parallelism, message-passing-style and active-message-style computations, fork-join and bulk-synchronous parallelism. Both its modern, type-safe sequential core and simple programming model for concurrency and distribution contribute to making X10 a high-productivity language in the HPC and Big Data spaces. User productivity is further enhanced by providing tools such as an Eclipse-based IDE (X10DT). Implementations of X10 are available for a wide variety of hardware and software platforms ranging from laptops, to commodity clusters, to supercomputers.
