The module uses node-pre-gyp to download a pre-compiled binary for your platform, if it exists. Otherwise, it uses node-gyp to build the extension. Just use the portable copy of the free sqlitebrowser program, available here : https://sqlitebrowser.org/dl/ to open and test the sample db, that I have given as a download here ( after extracting the zip file ) .
