The Lazarus IDE is a stable and feature rich visual programming environment for the FreePascal Compiler. It supports the creation of self-standing graphical and console applications and runs on Linux, FreeBSD, MacOSX and Windows.

Mainly this project aims at easing startup and use of XCSoar (see xcsoar.org) on Kobo Mini. But the scope of use should not be limited solely to XCSoar. The Launcher should be small in code size, reuse most of the original libraries, provide flexible configuration to any application that might be ported to the Kobo Mini. It supports customizable fonts, toolbox-pages, buttons (also graphical), labels, autostart and sleep timers.

The main goal of this project is to provide a rapid application development tool (including a framework) for developing application (if possible) without coding (or scripting) for the GUI. This system should be modular, which means, it's possible to add own components. The IDE (aka Tantalus) of the project must be able to handle also the self implemented components, without a recompile. It's possible to work parallel for the gui, the information are stored in XML, but for usage the data are transformed into a binary format, which decrease the code size and increase the speed of execution.

OOBD supports a self-programable Tool for Vehicle Onboard Diagnostics (OBD) for various platforms like the Windows-Desktop, mobile Phones and Smartphones Please note that we are actual moving this project over to oobd.googlecode.com. The software source code repository is already moved, other areas will follow.
