...We can say that pFFh behaves like an operating system on the board under development. All pFFh needs is a serial or USB-serial channel to communicate, and through it, receive and process console commands, either from a keyboard or from files sent from a desktop computer. This project is aimed at producing open source hardware for real time use in industrial automation. This project will have a few sub-projects that will focus on individual hardware for various industrial purpose. Some of the sub-projects will be of type Field-IO Modules development, Analog-IO Module development etc.

This is a port of the Dining Philosopher Problem (DPP) using the Quantum Leaps (http://state-machine.com) hierarchical state machine framework with the Light Weight IP (LwIP) network stack (http://savannah.nongnu.org/projects/lwip) and an ethernet driver implemented on the STM3220G-eval board (http://www.st.com/internet/evalboard/product/250374.jsp) running on stm32f207 Arm Cortex M3 uProcessor. ...It is intended to get use out of obsolete old hardware, for use in embedded systems, and as an educational tool. ELKS has been moved to Github to protest SourceForge's installer adware hijacking.
