Here you can create flashcards and quiz yourself on any topic you like, save the flashcards for later use or simply import one with the correct format. Give yourself hints, earn points and have fun! Play quiz with your friends see who gets the most points. Here almost anything is customizable. And forgive me if there are any bugs as there are probably always some! Libre software to help remember visual and verbal facts.
Revisaid allows you to enter information, including image files, then quizzes you on what you have entered. These quizzes can be saved for future use, and passed on to friends who may also find them useful. It is currently supported on Windows and Linux 2.6+, but in theory should work on any machine with a Python interpreter (and wxPython) installed.
