Tachyon was originally developed for the Parallax Propeller 8-core MCU because I need to do more and faster, and within the the limited memory, in order to produce firmware for my commercial embedded hardware products. When the much vaunted successor, the P2 was introduced, then Tachyon was upgraded and also built into the P2 ROM as TAQOZ. likeForth - an IDE in one file with graphics and sound.
likeForth started out as a weekend challenge and is now a digital schrebergarten to me. It is inspired by sectorForth and project-k.js, many thanks to the developers! Included is a rather simple interpreter and a Forth compiler, which give you an interactive development environment. It doesn't contain most Forth words but will be extended from time to time.
