Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) is a UI framework for building Windows desktop applications. WPF supports a broad set of application development features, including an application model, resources, controls, graphics, layout, data binding and documents. WPF uses the Extensible Application Markup Language (XAML) to provide a declarative model for application programming. WPF applications are based on a vector graphics architecture. This enables applications to look great on high DPI monitors, as they can be infinitely scaled. WPF also includes a flexible hosting model, which makes it straightforward to host a video in a button, for example. The visual designer provided in Visual Studio makes it easy to build WPF application, with drag-in-drop and/or direct editing of XAML markup. WinForms is another UI framework for building Windows desktop applications that is supported on .NET (6.0.x/5.0.x/3.1.x). WPF and WinForms applications only run on Windows. -

SkiaSharp is a cross-platform 2D graphics API for .NET platforms based on Google's Skia Graphics Library. It provides a comprehensive 2D API that can be used across mobile, server and desktop models to render images. Building SkiaSharp is mostly straight forward. The main issue is the multiple dependencies for each platform. However, these are easy to install as they are found on the various websites. If you are just working on managed code, it is even easier as there mays to skip all the native builds. Because there are multiple distros of Linux, and we cannot possibly support them all, we have a separate NuGet package that will contain the supported binaries for a few distros. -

A starting point for Clean Architecture with ASP.NET Core. Clean Architecture is just the latest in a series of names for the same loosely-coupled, dependency-inverted architecture. You will also find it named hexagonal, ports-and-adapters, or onion architecture. This architecture is used in the DDD Fundamentals course by Steve Smith and Julie Lerman. Contact Steve's company, NimblePros, for Clean Architecture or DDD training and/or implementation assistance for your team. After installing the template, you should be able to create a new project in Visual Studio and search for Clean Architecture. You should see the template appear in your list of project templates. Note that the template is generally only updated with major updates to the project. The GitHub repository will always have the latest bug fixes and enhancements. -

FlaUI
UI automation library for .Net
FlaUI is a .NET library which helps with automated UI testing of Windows applications (Win32, WinForms, WPF, Store Apps,...). It is based on native UI Automation libraries from Microsoft and therefore kind of a wrapper around them. FlaUI wraps almost everything from the UI Automation libraries but also provides the native objects in case someone has a special need that is not covered (yet) by FlaUI. Some ideas are copied from the UIAComWrapper project or TestStack.White but rewritten from scratch to have a clean codebase. To use FlaUI, you need to reference the appropriate assemblies. So you should decide, if you want to use UIA2 or UIA3 and install the appropriate library from NuGet. You can of course always download the source and compile it yourself. The entry point is usually an application or the desktop so you get an automation element (like a the main window of the application). On this, you can then search sub-elements and interact with them. -

A .NET library for on-the-fly processing of images. ImageProcessor is a collection of lightweight libraries written in C# that allows you to manipulate images on-the-fly using .NET 4.5+. It consists of two main libraries ImageProcessor, for desktop and application use and ImageProcessor.Web, a dynamic image processing extension built for ASP.NET. It’s lighting fast, extensible, easy to use, comes bundled with some great features and is fully open source. ImageProcessor is free and open source but developing it has taken thousands of hours of my time and a large part of my sanity. If you feel like dropping me a few precious pounds (there’s no obligation) it would go a great way to ensure that I can afford to take the time to continue to improve the library. It's fast, extensible, easy to use, comes bundled with some great features and is fully open source. -

Although it is still a rather young project, it offers tons of features like playing or capturing audio, en- or decoding many different codecs, effects and much more! Supported platforms, Windows only, Linux and mac experimental. Optimized performance though the usage of CLI instructions provided by a custom post compiler. -

GitVersion is a tool that generates a Semantic Version number based on your Git history. The version number generated from GitVersion can then be used for various different purposes.
