A very simple program. Once, I had a need to change a string of text in a very large number of files. It was easier for me to write a program that automates the process. The project is written for Linux 64 bit. Using the Qt library. It is multithreaded. I am working on a Linux version. I have tested it with Kubuntu 18.04 and 20.10 and OpenSUSE Tumbleweed. -

Tool to Compare 2 directories and handle the files.
...Or click "All" = show all files in both directories. Or click "Eq" = show file only the files that are the same. Note the program cheqs FileName, FileSize, FileDate and (sub)directory. It does not compute md5 sums because that would make it extremely slow. Mind you i use this regular for directories with 2000 photos. Based on Python, pygobject and gtk3. + Python-pillow if you want to compare 2 images. -

Toadflax is a graphical tool for displaying and editing/manipulating tunes in abc notation. It exists in two forms, Toadflax built using GTK and py_toadflax built using tkinter, the python window toolkit. It allows the user to load in abc music notation files and work on each one independently. The music is displayed on-screen, without needing to use a PostScript interpreter, making it a lightweight notation viewer. The Toadflax program uses a music renderer based on yaps, while py_toadflax uses the music renderer from the abcCairo project based on abcm2ps.
