...If you have VimL only (vim without python support) your best option is using garbas/vim-snipmate and cope with the minor bugs found in the engine. Use snippets if they are good enough, but allow overriding them in UltiSnips. This would avoid most duplication while still serving most users. XPT is a general-purpose XML Preprocessor with facilitates easy interfacing with Python. It's initial context was within DocBook 5 projects, but it is not intented to be restricted to that context. A tool/library is being build for manpage extraction from source files. XPT bindings are used to insert manpages into processed DocBook 5 output. A student's first attempt at a phylogenetic inference program, written in the simplistic yet elegant Python. Pysimony reads a FASTA file (only ATGC accepted) specified as its only argument.
