    Caffe Framework

    Caffe Framework

Caffe, a fast open framework for deep learning

Caffe is a deep learning framework made with expression, speed, and modularity in mind. It is developed by Berkeley AI Research (BAIR) and by community contributors. Yangqing Jia created the project during his PhD at UC Berkeley. Caffe is released under the BSD 2-Clause license. Expressive architecture encourages application and innovation. Models and optimization are defined by configuration without hard-coding. Switch between CPU and GPU by setting a single flag to train on a GPU machine then deploy to commodity clusters or mobile devices. Extensible code fosters active development. In Caffe’s first year, it has been forked by over 1,000 developers and had many significant changes contributed back. Thanks to these contributors the framework tracks the state-of-the-art in both code and models.

    Convolutional Recurrent Neural Network

    Convolutional Recurrent Neural Network

Convolutional Recurrent Neural Network (CRNN) for image-based sequence

Convolutional Recurrent Neural Network provides an implementation of the Convolutional Recurrent Neural Network (CRNN) architecture, a deep learning model designed for image-based sequence recognition tasks such as optical character recognition and scene text recognition. The architecture combines convolutional neural networks for extracting visual features from images with recurrent neural networks that model sequential dependencies in the extracted features. This hybrid approach allows the model to recognize sequences of characters directly from images without requiring explicit character segmentation. The implementation also integrates the Connectionist Temporal Classification (CTC) loss function, enabling end-to-end training of the model using labeled sequence data. CRNN has been widely used in computer vision tasks that require interpreting text embedded in images, such as reading street signs, documents, or natural scene text.

    DiffGen

    Differentially-private algorithm based on Generalization

Privacy-preserving data publishing addresses the problem of disclosing sensitive data when mining for useful information. Among existing privacy models, epsilon-differential privacy provides one of the strongest privacy guarantees and has no assumptions about an adversary's background knowledge. All the existing solutions that ensure epsilon-differential privacy handle the problem of disclosing relational and set-valued data in a privacy preserving manner separately. We developed an algorithm that considers both relational and set-valued data in differentially private disclosure of healthcare data.

    EasyPR

    EasyPR

An easy, flexible, and accurate plate recognition project

EasyPR is an open-source license plate recognition system designed to detect and recognize vehicle license plates from images using computer vision and machine learning techniques. The project focuses primarily on recognizing Chinese license plates but also demonstrates general approaches to automatic number plate recognition systems. Built on top of the OpenCV computer vision library, EasyPR provides algorithms for detecting license plate regions in images, segmenting characters, and recognizing the characters through machine learning models. The system is designed to work in unconstrained environments, meaning it can handle images with varying lighting conditions, perspectives, and backgrounds. Its architecture includes multiple stages such as plate localization, character segmentation, and character classification to achieve accurate recognition results.

    Euler

    Euler

A distributed graph deep learning framework.

As a general data structure with strong expressive ability, graphs can be used to describe many problems in the real world, such as user networks in social scenarios, user and commodity networks in e-commerce scenarios, communication networks in telecom scenarios, and transaction networks in financial scenarios. and drug molecule networks in medical scenarios, etc. Data in the fields of text, speech, and images is easier to process into a grid-like type of Euclidean space, which is suitable for processing by existing deep learning models. Graph is a data type in non-Euclidean space and cannot be directly applied to existing methods, requiring a specially designed graph neural network system. Graph-based learning methods such as graph neural networks combine end-to-end learning with inductive reasoning, and are expected to solve a series of problems such as relational reasoning and interpretability that deep learning cannot handle.

    GAAS

    GAAS

Autonomous aviation intelligence software for drones and VTOL

GAAS (Generalized Autonomy Aviation System) is an open source software platform for autonomous drones and VTOLs. GAAS was built to provide a common infrastructure for computer-vision based drone intelligence. In the long term, GAAS aims to accelerate the coming of autonomous VTOLs. Being a BSD-licensed product, GAAS makes it easy for enterprises, researches, and drone enthusiasts to modify the code to suit specific use cases. Our long-term vision is to implement GAAS in autonomous passenger carrying VTOLs (or "flying cars"). The first step of this vision is to make Unmanned Aerial Vehicles truly "unmanned", and thus make drones ubiquitous. We currently support manned and unmanned multi-rotor drones and helicopters. Our next step is to support VTOLs and eVTOLs.

    Genetic Algorithms Engine - Blackjack

A genetic algortihm engine that evolves blackjack basic strategy.

This project is a genetic algorithm engine able to be reused for other projects with minimal additional programming. The genetic algorithm engine currently plays many blackjack hands for the fitness function and produces a result similar to blackjack basic strategy. To see it in action, download the zip file and run either: GABlackjack_Demo.exe     (quick)   or GABlackjack_Long.exe       (slow, but it achieves better results). The code was written in C++, using MS Visual Studio 6.0 and MS Visual Source Safe 6.0. The genetic algorithm engine supports various mutation rates, ranked parental selection, stochastic sampling parental selection, cyclic crossover, crossover at each gene, cloning the best individual each generation, and creating random individuals each generation. To use the genetic algorithm engine to search for a different problem's solution, one needs to program a fitness function, the project settings, and a few virtual functions.

    Graphlet kernel framework

Calculates similarity between neighborhoods of two vertices in a graph

This software package provides a framework for calculating similarity between neighborhoods rooted at two vertices of interest in a labeled graph (undirected or directed). The list of available similarity functions includes: cumulative random walk, standard random walk, standard graphlet kernel, edit distance graphlet kernel, label substitution graphlet kernel and edge indel graphlet kernel. The graphlet kernel framework can be used for vertex (node) classification in graphs, kernel-based clustering, or community detection. If you use this framework, please cite the following paper: Lugo-Martinez J, Radivojac P. Generalized graphlet kernels for probabilistic inference in sparse graphs.
