AICtools is a GIS workflow and set of tools to facilitate Automated Imagery Classification (AIC) and analysis of surface features over time. Allows bulk processing of large data sets, including automated metadata processing/filtering, compressed archive extraction and file manipulation, raster band compositing, pre-processing, mosaicking, clipping. Automates a subset of operations involved in classification of satellite imagery and the associated raster calculations used for time trend analysis.

Warning: I found an error if the DR position is on the southern hemisphere. The PUB249 pdf files did not show this error and are correct (as far as I checked). All Revisions 8+ and the Windows release have been fixed. This Python TK application calculates a good set of stars for a 3 star fix, makes all calculations similar to the FAAs Celestial Computation Sheet (see FAA doc FAA-H-8083-18). Also, you can create a PDF file that generates Pub 249 Vol 1 for any epoch you specify. The PUB249 as PDF is found under "Files". I wrote this for my aircraft bubble octant :-) It is mainly useful for air navigation as it assumes a bubble sextant but may be used for normal sextants as well. Requires Ephem and ReportLab (optional for PDF output) Not to be used for real-world navigation!

FastVersion is a Qgis plugin for data versioning in a Postgis database. This plugin provides data versioning to tables with geometry stored in postgis. It allows to create, changes and eliminate versions, and within each version , to insert, modify and eliminate elements. It is possible carry out the processes of “post” from one version to another, with conflict resolution functionality. The system uses algorithms and data structures so that information is not duplicated each time a version is created. Fielddata Mgr Overview This is a Python program, which means that one must install the open source freely available Python interpreter and a few required also open source, freely available modules that support the functionality of the program. The program "Fielddata Mgr", is customized for the Rick survey department, in such that it supports up to 9 chiefs, each having their own folder in one location, 2 supervisers, each with a PC on the network, and access to a main server. Each day, the .RAW file is copied to the appropriate chiefs folder and when Fielddata Mgr is run, or the reload button is clicked, all .RAW files are listed along with a long list of all job folders existing in a designated location, and a short list of frequently accessed jobs that are selected from within the long list. When a .RAW file is selected, the contents are read, interpreted, and the results displayed within the program window. For remaining information please read the info sht.
