CData Getter 2006 by MiKe is a shellscript that will:
1)Get CD info (CDDB FREEDB) for an album of mp3 s (in a Directory)
2)Rename the mp3s based on CDinfo
3)write id3 tags based on CDinfo
It can also do this in every subdirectory.
This shellscript allows the renaming of MP3 files in a directory according to their id3 (v1 or v2) tag. This uses id2v2 and is command line based, while allowing very easy using, it has a great outuput!
