    SVCEval-RA

    SVCEval-RA

An Evaluation Framework for Adaptive Scalable Video Streaming

SVCEval-RA is a simulation framework for rate-adaptive video transmission using the Scalable Video Coding standard (H.264/SVC). Our approach uses feedback information about the available bandwidth to allow the video source to select the most suitable combination of SVC layers for the transmission of the video sequence. The proposed solution has been integrated into the network simulator NS-2 in order to support realistic network simulations.

    ns2-wimax-awg

WIMAX Model for ns-2.36 implementing IEEE 802.16-2012 OFDMA.

The earlier version of this NS-2 add-on (for OFDM PHY) was developed at NIST. At the WiMAX Forum Plenary Meeting at Hawaii (January 30 - February 2, 2007), the decision to merge the independent development efforts supported by Application Architecture Task Group (AATG), WiMAX Forum and NIST was taken. In 2009 the source code was made available to public though the website http://community.4gdeveloper.com/ and is moved from Google code to sourceforge gain a broader attention. ...

    TraceMetrics

TraceMetrics is a trace file analyzer for Network Simulator 3 (ns-3).

TraceMetrics is a trace file analyzer for Network Simulator 3 (ns-3). The main goal is to perform a quick analyzis of the trace file produced by ns-3's simulations and calculate useful metrics for research and performance measurement. Such tool is needed because a research simulation may generate a trace file with thousands of lines, becoming dificult to analyze manually. Due to this, this tool can be handy in case someone needs a metric that the tool already support. TraceMetrics is...
