ANPR for National Borders Systems
The idea is to enhance and develop the national border crossing process by the integration of automated vehicle recognition while crossing country borders. i'm going to use Automatic number plate recognition (ANPR): a system that recognizes the numbers of the vehicle plates by using OCR (optical character recognition) technology and Infrared cameras. This is going to be achieved by taking the license plate image from the camera and processing it using the software I’m going to develop together with an open source OCR system. The output is going to be a text version of the plate number. Then it is going to retrieve that number from a database and get the information of the vehicle owner. Note: Please note that you need emgucv installed. you also need to move the project files to: C:\Emgu\emgucv-windows-x86XXX\Emgu.CV.Example\ Please note: that the project was created using visual studio 2003, on windows xp. and it might not run fluently on newer versions. please try to update it. -

Realtime bigdata tool at the bit level based on immutable AVL forest which can be run in memory or, in future versions, as a merkle forest like a blockchain. Main object is a sparse bit string (Bits) that efficiently scales up to 2^63 bits normally compressed as forest has duplicated substrings. Bits objects support reading bit, byte, short, int, or long (Java primitives) at any bit index in 64 bit range. Example: instead of building a class to hold a header and then data, represent all of that as Bits, subranges of them, and ints for sizes of its parts. Expansion ability for other kinds of compression, since Bits is a Java interface. Main functions on bits are substring, concat, number of 0 or 1 bits, and number of bits (size). All those operations can be done millions of times per second regardless of size because the AVL forest reuses existing branches recursively. Theres a scalar (originally for copy/pasting subranges of sounds) and a bit Java package. Sparse n dimensional matrix. -

As a by product I will post my tailored Linux kernel and u-boot, and all relevant stuff here, from now on. I was shocked by the blocking of Chinese citizens from accessing some of the contents on sourceforge. I deeply regret the outrageous action initiated, even though I fully understand the reasoning behind it. -
