pyShowRename is a semi-automated batch file renamer which allows for controlled selection and maintenance/sanitisation of downloaded TV programs. The project was initially just to help the author get to grips with python but as of version 1.0 the project is stable enough to be used regularly and has proven to be a very useful tool. pyShowRename interfaces directly with the free epguides.com website using HTML scraping and retains a local cache of available TV Shows. -

XBMC addon for watching Finnish TV stations streams. YLE Areena and Ruutu works with Linux and Windows. Katsomo works only in Windows. Katsomo uses Internet Explorer & Silverlight plugin to show the video. Mostly tested on Linux. Plugin loads programs in the beginning. It takes several minutes. Wait for it to finish before using the plugin. Install by copying folder to ~/.xbmc/addon on Linux and to c:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\XBMC\addons\ on Windows -
