Created by July, the series began in 2010 and has since evolved into an in-depth exploration of algorithmic thinking, data structures, and coding interview preparation. The repository brings together 42 classic programming problems from the original series, enhanced with detailed explanations, formula derivations, and optimized solutions. In July 2023, work on the second edition was announced, which expands the project with updated content, new problems inspired by recent big-tech interviews, and introductions to modern machine learning techniques such as XGBoost, CNNs, RNNs, and LSTMs. This collection serves both as a historical record of algorithm problem-solving and as a living resource for programmers preparing for interviews. -

Academic is a Jekyll theme with a focus on simplicity, typography and flexibility. I originally designed it for my personal blog during my PhD thesis. Both in design and configuration, Academic aims to let the writer and its readers focus on the content. Almost all of the theme configuration happens in the _config.yml file. The goal of Academic is to let the author write very long and detailed posts while being kind to its readers' eyes. Academic can be used to generate different layouts while keeping the same look and feel. All features require you to opt in, which means that you can either use a very lean _config.yml or a very detailed one if you want to use more features. -

Makes http fun again! Ain't no party like a httparty, because a httparty don't stop. httparty also includes the executable httparty which can be used to query web services and examine the resulting output. By default it will output the response as a pretty-printed Ruby object (useful for grokking the structure of output). This can also be overridden to output formatted XML or JSON. Execute httparty --help for all the options. If the response Content Type is application/json, HTTParty will parse the response and return Ruby objects such as a hash or array. The default behavior for parsing JSON will return keys as strings. This can be supressed with the format option. In some cases you may want to skip SSL verification, because the entity that issued the certificate is not a valid one, but you still want to work with it. Unless you have specific requirements otherwise, we recommend to not set set the Accept-Encoding header on HTTParty requests. -

Record your test suite's HTTP interactions and replay them during future test runs for fast, deterministic, accurate tests. We're looking for more maintainers. If you'd like to help maintain a well-used gem please spend some time reviewing pull requests, issues, or participating in discussions. VCR will replay the response from iana.org when the HTTP request is made. This test is now fast (no real HTTP requests are made anymore), deterministic (the test will continue to pass, even if you are offline, or iana.org goes down for maintenance) and accurate (the response will contain the same headers and body you get from a real request). You can use a different cassette library directory (e.g., "test/vcr_cassettes"). The recorded requests and responses are stored on disk in a serialization format of your choice (currently YAML and JSON are built in, and you can easily implement your own custom serializer) and can easily be inspected and edited. -

opal-jquery provides DOM access to opal by wrapping jQuery (or zepto) and providing a nice ruby syntax for dealing with jQuery instances. opal-jquery provides an Element class, whose instances are toll-free bridged instances of jQuery objects. Just like ruby arrays are just javascript arrays, Element instances are just jQuery objects. This makes interaction with jQuery plugins much easier. Also, Element will try to bridge with Zepto if it cannot find jQuery loaded, making it ideal for mobile applications as well.
