SDL 1.2 or 2 can be used for graphics and an executable file for Window$ is included in version 2.1.0, as well as a program for analysing 2-dimensional structures, written in Sinclair BASIC for ZX Spectrum computers. A free emulator written in JavaScript, i.e. JSSpeccy v1, which was tested in FIrefox 10 from 2012 (and obviously works in all later versions), is also provided. -

This is a basic computer program (coded in Python) to simulate possible unit crystal cell length (a), Miller indices - {h, k, l} and interplanar spacing (d) for cubic crystals from observed (experimental) X-ray diffraction (XRD) angle, 2-theta. Calculate ASTM E1921 master curve and transition temperature.
T0 Test Evaluation Module (T0TEM) V1.5 calculates the ASTM E1921-19b master curve and T0 temperature for ferritic steels in the ductile-brittle transition region. It creates all required plots for the basic master curve and the inhomogeneity annex. Output is delivered via table or CSV and plots exported as picture files. The program is coded in MATLAB 2021a using App Designer. Use of T0TEM V1.5 is possible without a MATLAB license by utilizing the free MATLAB Runtime Version 9.10. This program was created by NASA at Marshall Space Flight Center. -

Lines with errors are highlighted in the code and gnuplot output is shown in a separate widget. A student's first attempt at a phylogenetic inference program, written in the simplistic yet elegant Python. Pysimony reads a FASTA file (only ATGC accepted) specified as its only argument. Basic testing has shown that it is slow, inaccurate and most definitely inefficient. An unlikely-to-be-the-most-parsimonious tree is printed upon completion in basic Newick tree format. As all parts of the program are the original work of a beginner programmer, this may represent one of the worst approaches to solving the phylogenetic problem. ... -
