PeCalc
PeCalc is a polyvalent engineering calculator for S&T students
PeCalc allows making calculations with integer fractions, complex numbers, complex matrices, rational functions and complex polynomials. It also allows making changes of numeric base, prime factor decomposition, solving linear equation systems, statistical and financial computations, rational fraction decomposition and plotting some control engineering graphs. PeCalc includes comprehensive user help in English and Spanish. Currently PeCalc runs on Android and MS Windows. A version for GNU Linux is planned for the near future. It has been developed in Object Pascal using Embarcadero Delphi. A Lazarus/Free Pascal version will be available soon too. -

Laser Flash Method
Measurement of specific heat and thermal diffusivity of materials
This program is designed to measure thermophysical properties of materials (thermal diffusivity and specific heat) by the laser flash method. A huge thanks to ULVAC RICO Inc.(Japan), whose equipment is still in operation and for which this program is implemented. The measurements are performed by a multifunctional analog input board PCI-1710UL (ADVANTECH, Taiwan), which is used as a variable-frequency signal recorder (in range 40 Hz – 40 KHz). The program is designed for simultaneous use of two TC3000 units. The measurement is triggered when an external trigger signal from a ruby laser is applied to one of the digit of digital I/O port of the PCI-1710UL board. The program includes a help system called F1. The application uses an external library (Advantech DAQNavi SDK) and driver to control the PCI-1710UL board. -

The project "FD-Method For Solving PDEs" contains the software for solving the nonlinear Klein-Gordon equations (see www.arxiv.org/abs/1203.5979 for more detail). The project "Infinite systems of matrix equations" consists in developing algorithms and software for solving systems of matrix equations. In the present version the project allows one to solve an infinite system of matrix equations which arises in the theory of stability preserving structural transformations of systems of second-order ODEs (see http://arxiv.org/abs/1204.1814). The project "Nonlinear Stourm-Liouville Problems with Distribution Potentials" is developed for solving nonlinear Sturm-Liouville problems with integrable potentials including Dirac delta function. The numerical-analytical method used in the project is called the FD-method. An aquarium management software with a Simulation Model System
SME LibreAquarium is an Aquarium management system with a Simulation Model Engine (SME) that makes a prediction of the possible measurement values for the different pollutants that affect to these aquatics systems (NO3,PO4, Fe). The simulator consults the recorded analysis to calculate a prediction of the NO3, PO4, Fe, that the these aquatic system produce. It also uses a central (fish, plant and invertebrates) database to check if the actual parameters are Ok, depending on the species that live in the Aquarium. With all the records, the Simulation Model predicts the algae risk too (low,medium,high) and the algae type(green,cyanotic.) using the Redfield coefficient. Appart from that, the program tries to bring another modest contribution to Open Source Software and the World of Aquariums. SME LibreAquarium helps to daily maintenace of the aquarium with habitants control(fishes,plants, invertebrates), expenses, statistics, alarms, etc. -
