Cable Spool.xlsm was developed to estimate loading on a storage drum due to winding of a steel cable. It was later updated to estimate internal loading in GRP ruggedized single fiber fiber-optic cable spools. Adhesive was applied as the cable was wound on a flanged mandrel.
