This is my Pyweek #5 entry. It’s got everything but sound at this point. I didn’t feel like I had as much time to finish as I would have liked, but I think the results are quite good. Perhaps it will get the full polishing it deserves.

"United Planets: The Last Crusade" is the first free opensource videogame developed by the Italian Team, Unreal Project. The Last Crusade is a 2D multi-directional shooter which brings a new experience to the player of these old style videogames. The Team is releasing now one of the first builds of the game. Vector Wars is a hyped-up, fast-paced, hectic space shooter.

VectorX is a game similar to Spaceinvaders and Asteroids. It uses two dimensional vector graphics and involves gravity. The aim is to fly around the screen and destroy opponents with 4 different projectiles. It was made using python, pygame and livewires

This is a remake of the Mega-Hit 'Sensible Soccer'. It's written in python and uses pygame. This Project's intent is to create a fun arcade multiplayer-game for multiple platforms.

Winter Warland is a unique multi-platform isometric shooter. This game contains a leveling system where after each level you get to upgrade nine different features of your character relating to your gloves, boots, and coat. During a battle, there is an inventory system where you can store snowballs and an assortment of eight different powerup items in your pockets so you can use them whenever you want. Winter Warland features four different game modes, including the classic Deathmatch (standard snowball fight), Elimination, and Capture the Flag modes as well as a unique mode called Snowman Conqueror. Worlds are randomly generated, but are customizable. Multiplayer was intended, but due to severe delays and recent schedule changes, I probably won’t add it for a while.

xo-falldown is an python based Falldown game for Windows/POSIX. For the XO: One Laptop Per Child, the game will allow users to have fun playing and to learn. It written in Python, so the users will have full rights to source and should enjoy hacking.

Porting the Ambrosia Software game Ares (by Nathan Lamont) to Mac OS X and beyond. The source has just been released - a first alpha may be soon! Although this project is called Ares X, it is supposed to be called Xsera (the name should be changed soon)

Zorn is a 2D space shooter with a rotating top-down perspective. It is written in Python, using the PyGame and PyOpenGL libraries for broad platform independence. Both single player and networked multiplayer are supported. Currently in alpha.

pyCave is an addictive 3D clone of the game SFCave (also "Helicopter Game" or "Jetman" in facebook.), with nice graphics. The goal of the game is to fly a damaged ship inside a tunnel, avoiding obstacles.

pyKSoko is a clone from Sokoban, yes another one. It was intended as a clone of Ksokoban the old Sokoban clone from KDE 3.5.x but it evolved and has now many features who are not part of the original KDE Sokoban clone. Have fun & give feedback! :-D
