This software works on PHP version 5.4 and back. I have used successfully on newer PHP versions upto version 7. If you incounter any database write and looping errors, just set your CPanel PHP to the default 5.4 PHP version and it will work perfectly. Feel free to update the PHP code for newer versions of PHP, but please contribute back upgrades to the community to keep this project alive. -

Archangel
A flexible, extendable content filter
...I have already written a module that does content-based blocking of youtube videos. Archangel uses the pyicap library to implement the ICAP functionality. The blockpage requires use of the PHP 5.4.x CLI. In order to do HTTPS filtering, you must first install squid compiled with SSL support and configure it to talk to archangel.
