Remote server monitoring application
...All you need to do is just configure Emon in XML and create an SSH user. After configuration, you are ready to monitor ping, dns, ports, url, CPU, RAM, SWAP, disk, traffic and log files of multiple servers in the terminal. If something goes wrong, Emon will send email to the admin. Emon is able to send the statistics (dropouts and graphs) to the admin. -

PyDSH is a remote administration tool, consisting of pydsh and pydcp. Pydsh allows you to run a command on multiple hosts in parallel over RSH, SSH or Telnet, OR manage your SSH public keys. The pydcp command allows copying files to/from multiple hosts.

Advanced Mass File renamer
This is a mass file renamer utilizing regular expression power.
This is a python based UI application that can rename a part of a set of files inside a directory based on the provided regular expression. This gives a lot more flexibility compared to other renaming files since it used grouping principle. This had two level of applying the rename, first stage shows who it will be when you rename it, if you are fine with the change you can make it permanent by clicking commit. -

This project is to develop a GUI/graphical way to create a .desktop file. Whereas alacarte can be used to do this, alacarte requires multiple creation of several launchers if one wants them in several menu areas. The menu specification allows one .desktop file to lists more than one menu location. Fleuron is a silent flash drive copier. When a flash drive is connected, Fleuron automatically starts copying the data with a Breadth First Search algorithm. In this way, the root directories are copied first and as time passes, deeper directories are copied. Fleuron also randomly stops for random amounts of seconds to allow the drive to be safely removed and to avoid detection.
