MinimalModbus is an easy-to-use Python module for talking to instruments (slaves) from a computer (master) using the Modbus protocol, and is intended to be running on the master. Example code includes drivers for Eurotherm and Omega process controllers.

As a side note, I'm only in eighth grade so I have tons of time to work on this project, any feature suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Current things I'm working on are: Porting to rpm based distro's Displaying the number of package updates Displaying the amount of space freed during cleaning Adding a scheduler so maintenance can be performed automaticly If you have any more suggestions let me know! -

pyforward is a GTK+ front-end to three core linux technologies that make it possible to turn your computer into a wifi access point in infrastructure mode: 1. iptables - To enable routing of your requests. 2. dnsmasq - To assign ip-addresses using dhcp. 3. hostapd - To enable wifi access to your machine in infrastructure mode. Refer the wiki page for more information on how to run pyforward. Note: Presently I'm in "development" mode.
