    Mobility

    Mobility

    Pluggable Ruby translation framework

Mobility is a gem for storing and retrieving translations as attributes on a class. These translations could be the content of blog posts, captions on images, tags on bookmarks, or anything else you might want to store in different languages. Storage of translations is handled by customizable "backends" which encapsulate different storage strategies. The default way to store translations is to put them all in a set of two shared tables, but many alternatives are also supported, including translatable columns and model translation tables, as well as database-specific storage solutions such as json/jsonb and Hstore (for PostgreSQL).

    NovaProva

new generation unit test framework for C and C++

NovaProva is a unit testing framework for C (and later C++). In other words it discovers tests, runs them in various ways, detects failures in them, and reports the failures out to a human. There are many other such frameworks for many languages, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XUnit Notably, we use the CUnit today in the Cyrus IMAP server, and it was CUnit's many pain points that inspired my work on NovaProva.

    Orkney

    Orkney

    Orkney Testframework

Orkney is a small but powerful test framework for Java. Orkney executes tests that are structured into test groups, test cases and test steps. Test steps are used like bricks to create test cases while test groups collect test cases and other test groups to create a test suite. Test cases are written in a simple text language thus allowing composition of cases from test steps without deep programming knowledge. Reports are created in text and in XML format, the latter are converted to a human readable form when using a standard web browser.

    ProTest

A minimalistic test framework written in C++.

A minimalistic test framework written in C++ providing scenario based, stateful acceptance testing where application user interface is mocked using test stubs. Refer to Sample.cpp for usage guidance. The sample defines a simple application class, fake user interface implementing the same abstract interface as the application requires, a test context to hold test state and pass it on among steps, and a few test steps. It then adds all the test steps to a test scenario. Then the default() main function is inserted. If you compile, link and execute the Sample, you will have an idea of what you should expect when you have finished writing your test.

    Protractor

    Protractor

E2E test framework for Angular apps

Protractor is an end-to-end test framework for Angular and AngularJS applications. Protractor runs tests against your application running in a real browser, interacting with it as a user would. Protractor is built on top of WebDriverJS, which uses native events and browser-specific drivers to interact with your application as a user would. Protractor supports Angular-specific locator strategies, which allows you to test Angular-specific elements without any setup effort on your part. You no longer need to add waits and sleeps to your test. Protractor can automatically execute the next step in your test the moment the webpage finishes pending tasks, so you don’t have to worry about waiting for your test and webpage to sync. Protractor needs two files to run, a spec file and a configuration file. Open a new command line or terminal window and create a clean folder for testing.
