UMMF is an open-source implementation of UML-compatible meta-meta-model, for the purposes of reifying meta-model implementations and to provide a platform for building flexible model and meta-model transformation tools.

Coral is a tool and a development platform to create and transform models and modeling languages. It can be used to edit UML models, to develop editors for other modeling languages and to implement MDA and QVT-like model transformations.

SYSMOD is a model-based systems engineering methodology. The SYSMOD4MD plugin for the SysML modeling tool MagicDraw (aka Cameo Systems Modeler) provides the SYSMOD profile, i.e., the stereotypes required for the SYSMOD methodology. Xtu is a support framework for implementing Platform specific models (PSM) using the xUML methodology. xUML is a formalized methodology for Model based systems engineering (MBSE) targeted at SW and HW development. Umple is technology for Model-Oriented Programming. It adds abstractions such as UML associations, attributes, and state machines to object-oriented programming languages such as Java, C++, PHP and Ruby. A developer can use Umple in one of several ways.
