The most common is VARCHAR. The software should let us choose a default target datatype for a given source datatype.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;A further enhancement (but not as important) would be to have a list of the target fields, and be able to change the datatype for any field.&lt;/p&gt;

possibility (records update, delete) of MySQL &lt;br /&gt;
database through Access DB interface.&lt;br /&gt;
