there should be a possibility for every aethernaut to edit the "location" text displayed in the web interface. a simple web-based form should allow to update this, the text string being stored either as a text file, or inside a database.

shoutbox

a small minimalistic 'shoutbox' should be integrated in the html interface. various existing shoutbox implementations need to be tested (they are generally php-based, and store the text either in a mysql database, or in a text file on the server).

add transparency feature

the 'opacity' feature in modern browsers could be used to implement a sort of cross-fade in the html interface. cross-browser code needs to be written for this.
