How to find The URI of os_allcommerce

I get the following error message Sitepm.Dir file not
found When running ./configure.pl i get a message ,
"Sitepm.Dir file not found - Program HALTED"

I read the following soln ,

Install this way:

1.) edit ./conf/path.pm
change (16x) /home/http/os_allcommerce to your
URI of
os_allcommerce

2.) start ./setpmdir.pl (for generating Sitepm.Dir)

3.) start ./configure.pl

Can you help me with step1) . Where can I find the URI
of os_allcommerce ??

No admin user after install...

I checked out the data in the contact database after install and there is no admin user.
I had to do a manual install but that seemed to go w/o a hitch.
I was unable to login as the admin user after setup, after other things I tried didn't help I looked here
then the contacts table.

I tried editing the 1st entry changing the uname from '' to 'admin' it admin w/ and w/o a password... no
joy.

Help... I need in!

windows 2000 install

I followed the setup instructions but still get the
site.dir error message. now according to the site this
is a path error. i did follow the windows instructions
and placed everything whree it needed to be, however,
i still get this error. Does this mean that I need to
edit the path.pm so that it reflects the windows file
system [ie put /cygwin at the begining of each path]

sql error while running scripts

I am trying to install the os_all commerce

Installation goes well but when I run the software, I
get Internal Server Error...

My error_log reads..

I am trying to install allcommerce on my server and I
have a problem.

I am trying to run setmpdir.pl in os_allcommerce
directory but my isp won't let me run any script out
of my cgi-bin directory, can I run the script there
instead.

Canadian postal codes not recognized

I cannot change the order status from "Tentative Order-
Authorization Pending" to "Awaiting Fulfillment" when
a Canadian Zip Code is entered (eg. M5W 3L3) because
this field dictates that it has to be all numbers. Any
way around this? I'm using v1.0.3

I don't run my own server and have my site hosted by a
remote server. I can only upload the scripts through
FTP. Could somebody please help me out to get it work?

In logs it says:
Premature end of script headers: [root]/cgi-
bin/om/admin/admin_object.cgi.
Can't locate [root]/lib/permissions/admin.1.pm at
[root]/lib/permission_layer.pm line 1140.

admin.1.pm is actually admin.1.pm or admin.2.pm or
admin.3.pm

I could create manually those files if I know howTo.

Is there an explication ?
