&lt;p&gt;- renamed to amp-0.9-beta-example.war since the war file is nothing more than an example application. Using amp is simple and only requires the main jar, but this war shows how to configure it with spring.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- added blank index.htm so that tomcat will be able to resolve the welcome page.  Spring's view resolver uses WEB-INF/jsp/index.jsp so index.htm can remain blank&lt;/p&gt;
