phpmyadmin needs temp map from local administrator

we use appserv at our school for students who folow the course ict.
Appserv is installed on the pc's by the local admin account.
When the profile of the local admin account is not present (it gets deleted after 3 days by a server policy)
phpmyadmin wont start because it needs the temp map in the profile of the local admin.
Is there a way to prohibit this?

I would like to be able to use Appserv and Xampp on the same computer.
I have installed Appserv and its working fine, but i would like to use Xampp as well.
Can i do it , if yes how to configure to make them both work.

Hi,

I installed Appserv 2.5.10 (Apache 2.2.8 / PHP 5.2.6) on a server running Windows 2008 x64 Service Pack 2 and I encounter a problem accessing to a PHP web application that uses the session_start() function:

warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: open(c:/users/admini~1/appdata/local/temp/2\sess_aa16bc83d45d07ae6c86b27ce1ee9cde, o_RDWR) failed: No such file or directory (2)

This errors appears only when no users are logged on the server. I suspect the issue is related with the load of a user profile and with permissions/rights on the directory "c:/users/admini~1/appdata/local/temp/2".

The Apache Service runs as "local system". I tried to change the permissions of the directory (everyone->full control) and to run the Apache service as administrator but the problem is still unresolved...

Could you please help me?

Error when connecting to PHPmyAdmin

When i go to phpmyadmin, i get the following error:

Cannot load mysql extension. Please check your PHP configuration.

I have had this error with both 2.5.10 and 2.5.9

Hello, when i have all installed and working, the link of
php-nuke(7.4) isnt in The AppServ Open Project - 2.5.3
for Windows , i can see the phpadmyn, the php
information version but not the php-nuke link. Please
help me, and tell me why i have this problem...

mysql problem

mysql won't work. The apache is ok as well as the php,
but the mysql has this problem
