I just stumbled upon this little gem while looking for
other ASP CMS systems of which I could not find many.

This project collects generic functions and bundles them
togeather for developers to use.

Although I habour no real beleafe that vnknowledge is
on the same scale as Infinty, it might be worth noting
that much work has already been done by vnknowledge
that might reduce the workload for us:

I suggest that the first person who ahs enough time
goes and has a look with a view to checking out the
automatic update and webhosting eliments.

They seem to be doing something like what we are. It
would be silly to duplicate and maybe we can work
togeather? Who knows, but for now we need to check
out what they are doing just so we can consider it in
the future.

One possible way to work with themeing is to use a third
party theme engine:

Support SQL Files

As the base for production will be the MaxWeb* family
of ASP portals it will remain important to support MS-
Access 2000 files as a method of data storage.

This means that the most common technique of inducing
lots of change in a database will not nativly be available.
(SQL files).

To this end I have created a draft install system that
takes the OpenWiki2004 SQL file and runs through it to
set up the tables in an MS-Access database.

It is class based and tested untill it succeeded but it
should be considered BETA stage at best.

The original code came not from me but from a free
download. I have contacted the copyright owner and
he is happy to have his source used in development in
this manor.

I have prommised him a copy when we are done.

OpenWiki2004

I propose the use of OpenWiki2004 as a module for
infinity and a showcase of the extensibility that it will
have.

The Authentication Class

This class will form the core of user authentication and
it is hoped that it will then be used by the UserGroup
system to identiy users and group membership allowing
for a rights by usergroup access managment system.

This is the first Request For Engineering (RFE) to be filed
and that which all others will be built.

Also in this class file are a set of dynamic content
wrappers set into a simple class to aid standardisation
of such things.
