I can't figure out how to get into Back-End. I did the
installation and it seemed to be successful but the link
that says, "Start using Back-End" loops me back to the
configurator.

I've tried running the index.php, login.php and
petition.php but that just goes back as well.

Can you view the public_html/test.php page? NO

Can you view the index.php? NO

Can you log in? NO

Have you made sure to allow write permissions to
public_html/updir and it's sub-directories? YES

Any help would be appreciated.

file uploads

I have a install of 0.4.8 and everything works fine except
binary upload. I have checked and re-checked
permissions for the directory and checked the path in
the settings file.
Each time I click the upload file button it takes me to
the login page, If I type my username and pass again it
takes me to index.php.
I can delete files fine but uploading isn't quite right... any
ideas?

Hi all. I have just downloaded a copy of this programme
and I am realy keen to use this PHP application. How
ever I am having a few troubles. I have Appache installed
and mySQL and PHP 4 installed. The first problem I
came up with was the installer.php file. It gave out all
the correct information and then is reports:

"1) Type: 8, Message: Undefined variable:
SCRIPT_NAME File: c:\www\unsecure\installer.php,
Line: 23, Context: Array"

I managed to get around that by importing the tables
from the text files. No the next part complains that it
cand find the template files:

"Template Error:
filename: /includes/templates/counter.tpl does not exist.
Halted."

Now, I have checked the config file and the location of
the file are both correct, but the script is not finding it.
Can anyone please shed some light on my problem.

Hello!

Nice job here. I installed back-end on my apache server.
However I get the foolwoing error:
http://www.utahinteractive.com/backend/htdocs//polllist.
php3 - each time I try to click on any of the links to
internal pages or view internal pages from the admin
interface. I am not sure exactly what the problem
maybe or were I went wrong. Please help!

Hey dudes (dude). Nice work, I installed on redhat and
saw a few quirks here & there but overall, it's a well
started project that I wouldn t mind getting involved in (
any room for one more developper ?

I have been looking to build up a modularized CMS from
scratch myself, as none out there really fitted my needs.

I am volunteering to help develop Back-End, I have
2 yrs full time php experience, am 100 % french, & have
already started getting familiar with the app-code.

I am reliable, good communicator if you can disregard
my crappy english spelling.

I could be counted on to devote a few hours of dev time
weekly.

Article Pages parse error

Hi,

I just installed back-end, and everything seems to be
working perfectly - except two sections, the articles
and article pages php files both return a parsing
error. It's a strange one, too, because the parsing
error for both files is at the very end, the '?>'
line.

Don't know if this is an issue, or if I have something
misconfigured (but, everything else works fine...)
