Running the install batch on Windows 10 goes insane, spawning thousands of processes. Finally had to reboot. Apparently this is abandonware and not compatible with later Windows.

#49 bandwidthd does not work

When I run it directly, in Windows 98 compatibility mode, it seems to generate some HTML. But it also continuously starts an infinite number of bandwidthd.exe processes, about twice per second. I killed it once about 150 of them were running.

bandwidthd does not work

Installed on Windows 7 according to instructions (attempting to run in static mode), installed winpcap first.

Service does not run any bandwidthd.exe processes, only cygrunsrv.exe.

Attempting to run on command line produces:

C:\Programs\bandwidthd>bandwidthd.exe
      1 [main] bandwidthd 8912 fork_copy: linked dll data/bss pass 0 failed, 0x3BC000..0x3BC0D0, done 0, windows pid 9616, Win32 error 487

Nowhere to go from there, really. What's the next step?
