Possible? Sure. If you can sponsor the implementation this could happen quite soon. Otherwise, it happens when anybody has enough of an itch (or thinks it's fun to kill some time) to do the actual implementation. If you want to give it a shot yourself, it's quite easy in this case as we're talking about a very simple 1D barcode. You could simply make a copy of Code39 to start from and then change to code to the Code93 symbology. Patches are welcome!
