My Startup CDs won't load it so I &lt;br /&gt;
got basilisk and os 7.5.3. But I can't install 7.5.3 because it needs classic &lt;br /&gt;
to install. It's seems I've hit a paradox I don't have os classic, and I can't &lt;br /&gt;

ethernet to an emulated Quadra 650. I'd like to copy&lt;br /&gt;
all the files and then get rid of the physical machine.&lt;br /&gt;
Basilisk II on Windows is running fine from the&lt;br /&gt;
BasiliskII-1.0-0.3.win32.zip. I installed Mac OS 7.6 -&lt;br /&gt;
the same OS that runs on the physical Quadra.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I used the Win2K Ethernet driver and installed it under&lt;br /&gt;
Windows XP Service Pack II. No complaints by Windows or&lt;br /&gt;
BasiliskGUI. &lt;br /&gt;
I do an ipconfig /release and then try to use the NDIS&lt;br /&gt;
connection via the Mac emulation but it doesn't seem to&lt;br /&gt;
work. Neither the NDIS only nor a combined NAT/Router&lt;br /&gt;
NDIS configuration gave any results. A simple ping to&lt;br /&gt;
my router didn't give an answer. Filesharing doesn't&lt;br /&gt;
show anything.&lt;/p&gt;

gives me the error that the CD is unreadable. This, &lt;br /&gt;
however happens with every cd rom that I try..many &lt;br /&gt;
including ones that were created for PC's and others &lt;br /&gt;
that were created for MACs. I was told to look at the &lt;br /&gt;
extension directory and check whether or not the CD &lt;br /&gt;
extension was deleted and I do not find one there. The &lt;br /&gt;
most compelling reasons that I think that is does not &lt;br /&gt;
work is because I have only a DVD drive and one CD &lt;br /&gt;

The Config screen comes up for configuration. After I set &lt;br /&gt;
everything and hit run. It bring up a blank X window and &lt;br /&gt;
then crashes. The window closes and exits without error. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I'm useing a harddisk image made with the windows &lt;br /&gt;
version of basilisk. I have MacOS 7.5.5 installed on the &lt;br /&gt;
disk image and a working rom file located in the same &lt;br /&gt;
directory as the binary. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Any advise would be welcomed. &lt;br /&gt;
I'm going to see if i can use a native disk file to make it &lt;br /&gt;
work. I'm not sure how i will install the OS though welp i'll &lt;br /&gt;
work that angle though. the program recognises the &lt;br /&gt;
images made by the windows version of basilisk however. &lt;/p&gt;
