Loading os 7.5.3 in OSX w/o classic

I don't have classic loaded on my OSX. My Startup CDs won't load it so I
got basilisk and os 7.5.3. But I can't install 7.5.3 because it needs classic
to install. It's seems I've hit a paradox I don't have os classic, and I can't
install any os's 9 and prior without classic.

Windows XP NDIS/Appletalk

The goal ist to connect a physical Quadra 840 via
ethernet to an emulated Quadra 650. I'd like to copy
all the files and then get rid of the physical machine.
Basilisk II on Windows is running fine from the
BasiliskII-1.0-0.3.win32.zip. I installed Mac OS 7.6 -
the same OS that runs on the physical Quadra.

I used the Win2K Ethernet driver and installed it under
Windows XP Service Pack II. No complaints by Windows or
BasiliskGUI.
I do an ipconfig /release and then try to use the NDIS
connection via the Mac emulation but it doesn't seem to
work. Neither the NDIS only nor a combined NAT/Router
NDIS configuration gave any results. A simple ping to
my router didn't give an answer. Filesharing doesn't
show anything.

What should I do - especially to debug the situation?

fix the ppc-dyngen-ops.hpp file? SheepSheaver not compiling

SheepShaver won't compil on linux - I get a parse error on
ppc-dyngen-ops on line 12960 according to make

Compilation error

I'm running Fedora 2.4.22-1.2149

When I run ./configure with the following command :
./configure --x-include /usr/X11R6/include
--x-libraries /usr/X11R6/lib6

I get the error :
checking size of short... configure: error: cannot
compute sizeof (short), 77

Can somebody help me please ?

configuration de resau et il m'indique seci que doije
faire "Basilisk 2 ethernet driver -> <inactif>"
et jai une image de ce quil fait.

Dial-Up Internet

When I tried to get a Mac application to use the dial-up
set up by my Windows port, it didn't work. It was kind
of annoying. I have Windows 98 SE with Open transport
1.1 on my Emulator.

Basilisk II is good but one little thing
does not work just right...

CD Rom not working

Every time I insert my CD to install MAC OS X it always
gives me the error that the CD is unreadable. This,
however happens with every cd rom that I try..many
including ones that were created for PC's and others
that were created for MACs. I was told to look at the
extension directory and check whether or not the CD
extension was deleted and I do not find one there. The
most compelling reasons that I think that is does not
work is because I have only a DVD drive and one CD
RW drive, so could you please add support for these?

The Config screen comes up for configuration. After I set
everything and hit run. It bring up a blank X window and
then crashes. The window closes and exits without error.

I'm useing a harddisk image made with the windows
version of basilisk. I have MacOS 7.5.5 installed on the
disk image and a working rom file located in the same
directory as the binary.

Any advise would be welcomed.
I'm going to see if i can use a native disk file to make it
work. I'm not sure how i will install the OS though welp i'll
work that angle though. the program recognises the
images made by the windows version of basilisk however.
