Bibdesk should allow users to configure the URLs for DOI, WebOfScience and PubMed so that the user can supply EZProxy URLs for those services.
In addition, when the user has been redirected to the login page, Bibdesk should be able to detect that and display the login page in Safari.

We're happy to accept a patch for this, but have no way to develop or test it.
You can configure the URLs for Web of Science, but our users inform us that Safari is incompatible with proxies they've tested, so that feature has never been exposed.

Does this have to do with cookie handling?

Possibly. We (developers) don't have access to an EZProxy, so can't test or debug it at all.

BTW, EZproxy is compatible with Safari.

I will test the setting and post the result here.

Any progress here? I have access to a number of sites using EZProxy as well and would love this.
It does work perfectly on Safari too.
