Similarly to iTunesFS,

which uses FUSE:

an idea could be to have a mount point showing a hierarchy with groups as branches (topic, journal, author, first author) and cite keys as leaves, showing the bidesk element, a bibtex string, the local pdf
this could:
- help access to citations using the finder which is an improvment for people with knowledge in macs but not in bibtex
- foster the use of fancy drag-and-drops (a citekey to mail.app / texshop.app)
