You could save more than 1 MB.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;To build PolarSSL as a shared library and reduze its size, please look at the patches at &lt;a href="http://freetz.org/browser/trunk/make/libs/polarssl/patches" rel="nofollow"&gt;http://freetz.org/browser/trunk/make/libs/polarssl/patches&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
