boot from usb external dvd

Hi,
The sumary says all. I have a externa usb dvd and I
can't bootup from that unit, smartboot only see
hardware inside of computer. Work great with old bios
but not solve this trouble. Thanks.

Great boot manager, but I would like to get it loaded
to a CD, and floppies with it written to them are
invisible to Winimage, NTRawrite, and Nero Burning ROM.
How can I extract it for use, or can it be added to
your mirrors? A Smart Bootmanager CD would be great
for people who have computers without floppy drives.

SBM is the best (IMHO) boot manager I have used. I have a question due
to installing Windows XP in my multi-OS system:

Can SBM work
with Windows XP? I have used it very successfully with Windows 95
and 98, but XP seem to over-write the boot record and assumes a
specific OS (as the other choice of OS) to boot from. ie. It gives me
only a choice of XP or Windows 95 to boot from. I have Windows 98 on
another partition but it does not seem to see it.
