This has happened with several things, often when mentioning 'onload', e.g. 'frmMain.onLoad' becomes 'frmMain.onSAFELoad'. Could you please tell me why this is done and if there are any fixes for it?

By design, to defend against malicious javascript. It's not really a very good defense but it's slightly better than nothing.
