The login Windows opens very tiny in varying locations on the screen. If the screen is cluttered
with many windows it is sometimes very difficult to find and must be enlarged before you can enter
anything.
Perhaps it would be better to drop the pack() command from
the login dialog. The "hard-coded" sizes don't have this
problem (and look quite nice on my system).

This feature should be fixed in release 0.9.9:
bug fixes for JDK 1.3: dialog size set directly, not for the content pane.
Please check the installed version.

With IE on Win2k it is fine ... always.
It's with Netscape on Win2k AND Linux

This problem seems to be a Java bug (also with IE and Win2k). See
http://developer.java.sun.com/developer/bugParade/bugs/4429511.html
for details. The login dialog will be replaced in the near future.
