No Hyperlinks on index.php and other pages

Hello all,

Problem:
(1) I can access index.php but i can't see the hypertext
on the page. for example no links like Submit, Enter, or
Cancel.

(2) However i can see the text boxes to enter Admin's
login and password, after login, in the next page same
problem, i cant see any hyperlink to perform any task.
the layout of the page is there.

Not sure if it is a bad installation or may be its because
of Apache server. however i can access other sites fine.

I am upload the screenshot of the 2nd page in the
attachment.

MySQL socket error

I am receiving " Warning: mysql_pconnect(): Can't
connect to local MySQL server through socket
'/tmp/mysql.sock' (2) in
/usr/local/apache/htdocs/bugin/lib/adodb/drivers/adodb-mysql.inc.php
on line 207" when trying to start bugin. The socket
file for mysql is in /var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock
(mysqladmin -h localhost version). I changed the
location in php.ini without any affect. How do I point
bugin to the location of the socket file?

during update, user briefly sees

array_key_exists in
/var/www/html/bugin/inc/modify.inc.php on line 35

The message only displays for a split second, so the
only information that the users understands is that
something was wrong.

The fix (I think) is to add the is_array call to
inc/modify.inc.php line 35

so
if ( array_key_exists($key,
$bugDatabase->lists['field'])) {
becomes
if (is_array($bugDatabase->lists['field'] ) &&
array_key_exists($key, $bugDatabase->lists['field'])) {

sort by priority broken

trying to sort by priority (or other fields too probably)
is broken

I turned on debugging and looked at the SQL generated.
There is no join criteria for two tables.

e.g. the following is for a "Sorted by:Priority"

(mysql): SELECT tickets.*,(UNIX_TIMESTAMP(NOW()) -
UNIX_TIMESTAMP(tickets.date_modified)) as
age,UNIX_TIMESTAMP(tickets.date_added) AS added_ts FROM

The problem seems to be in lib/database.inc.php :344
if ($filed = "") {
should be
if ($filed == "") {

Cannot login

I have installed this on my home Win32 test system and
when I try to login I get a 'page cannot be found' error.

I can view the login page but cannot register any more
accounts as that has the same error.

This is the URL to the tracker (its localhost only):

http://192.168.0.18/bugin/index.php

This is the contents of my config.local.php

and I notice the URL on the "[Create a new account]"
link is:

http://192.168.0.18/bugin/?area=signup

which is not a qualified URL and so it just results in the
generation of a directory listing. What else do I need to
change?

I've installed the applications on a windows box.
I'm seeing the same issue as your ticket # 556437

Can you please let me know how this was resolved ?

Installation Issue

I am a QA/ TESTER, and am interested in doing some
testing for Bugin. I downloaded bugin-0.52 release tried
to install , and came across a few issues:

1)The first page (index.php) displays following lines:-

2) I tried to login as Admin and the page never changes,
it reloads itlesf and does not tell me what is wrong.

3) I tried creating a new user, and got following line

I checked and found that the file "'lib/updatedb.inc.php"
is missing.

I am working on REd Hat Linux (7.x) with Apache
1.3.20, and PHP 4.1.0, mySql environment. could you
plese help me identify the problem with my configuration.
