cannot log in the main page

Hello ,

i did everything in the README file and i still got the
same error. first of all they said there is no db username
and password but if you open bugs.mdb you can see a
username:bugsadmin
password:bugsadmin
second i tried that and it's not working i even tried
without username and password and again is comming
the same page .. Even if i just refresh the page it's
comming for second error that username:password does
not exist . Everything is set up how it suppose to be and
i cant see the problem.

Sombody help me ....

Problem in bug search with title/description

I can not search a bug on 'Description' or 'Title'
Here is the screen text that I get when I click on 'Go'
with something in Description/Title text boxes.

Syntax Error in Date Expression

some bug fixes

Hi,

I started to use bugsonline the other day, and I made a
few fixed by myself.

First, I changed the lengt of the Program and Area
strings from 20 to 200 to alllow for more expressive
names. In fact, in the database it can be of 255 so you
can change it by yourself if you like.

Second, we had some strange behavior which caused
some Areas do not appear in the combo boxes and lists.

The thing was with some bizarre routine used to check if
a string was inserted in the <OPTION> tag, which
concatenated the new string to another to mark that.
The problem was this:
If string A was concatenated to one string, and then a
string B (which is a SUBSTRING of A) was asked if it
was in the container string, the answer was YES
because in the container string was A (and since B is a
substring, it was checked).

Well summing it up, I added a '|' to delimit a string from
anotrher so this problem was fixed. I was in a hurry so
may be usefull to change the '|' for another character
less frecuent (or not visible ascii char)

500 HTTP Configuration Error

Under "To Configure," the Readme.txt file states in part:

1. Enter bugs online using system manager
login information:
User Name: bugsadmin
Password: bugsadmin

A project appears to be necessary. There is only one
but when that is selected, the system throws an HTTP
500.100 - Internal Server Error - ASP error.

System DSN driver type unspecified

4. Create system DSN through ODBC manger
pointing to database "bugs"
5. Name this system DSN "bugs"

The readme.txt file does not specify what type of driver
to use for the bugs System DSN.

Installation Documentation Unclear

Problems with ODBC

I've tried to publish the page to my site at
testesadsl.www2.dotnetplayground.com and every time
go there I have a error message stating that there is an
odbc error :

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers
error '80004005'

[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name
not found and no default driver specified

/scripts/create_select.inc, line 7

You can go there to verify for yourself.

Now I have a database named bugs and I've edited the
create_select.inc to ensure that there is the statment
pointing to my database. I can't figure what's wrong can
you give me some insight??

Locale problem in Date

I got an error saying that the date format is not correct

I am in a turkish locale. I think it is a problem of
seperators.
