BVRDE connectivity fails (FTP/SFTP/SSH) if the connection with the target can't be established in a few seconds, I get 'No connection' error. I can connect to the target using PUTTY (telnet or SSH) and standard Windows FTP command-line client, however the connection is not immediate (need 10-20s to connect) then working fine. Seems that "connection timeout" in Project settings / options have no effect.
Host OS: Win 2K Target: Arch Linux, kernel 2.6.28, custom board.
There is already an option in BVRDE that allows you to modify the timeout seconds for the connection.
I have a similar problem. It seems the connection time out value in the Project--> properties---> Configuration --->File Transfer is for the file transfer only and not the Application controller, application debugging. As the original poster stressed changing the time out value doesn't help, still in the reply you point out that you can increase that parameter.
