Help! (prev posted)

Hi--I just installed Chartsy 1.40 on my Vista x64 laptop(with all but 1 uninstallable update), looked thru the available plugins and attempted to install Fibonacci and Lucas Series plugins. The install function returned 2 errors, stating the following:

Some plugins require plugin Explorer & Property Sheet API to be installed.
The plugin Explorer & Property Sheet API is requested in version >= 6.28.2 but only 6.28.1 was found.
The following plugins are affected: Fibonacci Series Lucas Series

Some plugins require plugin Utilities API to be installed.
The plugin Utilities API is requested in version >= 8.6.2 but only 8.6.1 was found.
The following plugins are affected: Fibonacci Series Lucas Series

I would've thought this would be the perfect place to offer a button to fix the aforementioned on the spot; but there does not seem to be a clue as to how to address these issues!
1 Can you help me fix this in the immediate? I'm not sure how I would go about the update.
2 Can this process be automated? I looked for the indicated plugins, but could not find them to even try to figure them out.

Thanks.
Oh, also, I could not find a way to select a category in the submission of this artifact!
CS

One final note: I cannot login on this page; and each webpage for the Chartsy.org pages appear to require separate logins ?Any thoughts as to why this is occurring? I tried repeatedly to log in to this support page; requiring separate registrations seems redundant and unnecessary, as well as time consuming. Can that be fixed?
Thanks. Chartsy appears to be a fine program, and I look forward to recommending it to my friends and family

I keep searching the net--it's been about a month since my initial post--and can't find any solutions--
can't believe no one else has this problem (I've reproduced these errors on 4 different computers!)
or that absolutely no one has found a solution!

HELP!

Then I installed updated plugins. Now when I attempt to open a new chart, nothing happens. Well actually, an error indicator appears and when I click on that it says there is an "Unexpected Exception" - java.lang.NullPointerException. When looking at the details, it seems the error is generated by the TemplateManager. When I select Template Manager, the same thing happens with very similar results. Any help wwould be appreciated.

Thanks.
